When I was approached by the owner of Tortuga’s food truck he was looking for logo that reflected the quality going into his food in the design of his truck. In a crowded food truck scene I wanted to partner with one of my favorite local illustrators to create a “mascot” for his namesake tortuga to make the brand more memorable. James Sibaja’s charming illustration really made Tortuga’s come to life.
